Theatre 2/3/4

Welcome

Theatre 2/3/4 is an opportunity for experienced theatre students to grow in their appreciation of theatre. It is a deep exploration into the on-stage and behind-the-scenes aspects of theatre. Theatre encourages students to be more self-confident and more effective communicators. The skills learned in theatre are necessary for class presentations, job interviews, and collaborating with others in a variety of environments.

Theatre 2 students will be working to improve their acting craft as well as delving into playwriting, stage managing and directing.

Theatre 3 will have an emphasis on producing, directing, and portfolio development.

Theatre 4 will include problem-solving, production projects, and advanced technical theatre.

All groups will be learning about the history and importance of theatre and will work together to produce works for a showcase in the spring semester.

Drama Club is a natural extension of the theatre curriculum and students are encouraged to participate in club productions.
