Substitute Instructions for Mr George Reed

Attendance (2 minutes) 

Period 1 Only – This is Jazz Ensemble, only 16 students. If you feel comfortable, these students can play there instruments and practice. You may need to open a storage room. Make sure the storage room gets closed and locked after class. If you do not feel comfortable with that the students playing instruments… follow the instructions for the rest of classes.

Period 5 & 7

As the students enter please tell them they will only need a pen/pencil and a hard surface to write on today. NO instruments. Please have students sit in their normal seats. Take attendance.

Worksheets (1 minute) 

Have students take out a sheet of paper. Please have them put their names on them and tell them that we WILL be looking at them when Mr Reed returns. We expect thoughtful and engaged answers. After each video, below the videos, are a series of questions students can answer. Students do not need to write down questions… just answers.
