9/28/12 - Fall Family Camp.  The Pack went camping at Camp Rancho Los Mochos in the East Bay.  Despite the heat everyone had a lot of fun playing football, learning to make rope, doing some hatchet throwing, hiking, and eating some great food.

8/11/12 - Sycamore Grove Hike.  Members of the Pack headed out for the third hike of the summer, completing another segment of the Trail Trekkers Hiking Program.

8/4/12 - Community Service Project at Washington Open.  The Pack gave back to the community by painting the outdoor benches at Washington Open Elementary where we hold our weekly Den meetings throughout the year.

7/28/12 - Beach trip to Twin Lakes Beach.  A wonderful day at the beach for members of the Pack, who worked together to build a massive sand fortress, and competed in a rain gutter regatta race.

7/27/12 - San Jose Earthquakes Soccer Clinic.  As a reward for a successful spring recruitment, the Pack was awarded a soccer skills clinic taught by San Jose Earthquakes Academy players.  All Pack members that attended earned their Soccer belt loop award.

7/14/12 - San Jose Earthquakes Scout Night.  The Pack headed out to the soccer stadium for a night of professional soccer.  Members of the Pack had the opportunity to escort players on to the field during pre-game ceremonies.

7/8/12 - Castle Rock hike.  Grabbing their climbing gear, families headed up to the Santa Cruz mountains to Castle Rock park to hike out and do some boulder climbing.

6/30/12 - Trail Trekkers Hike at Coyote Hills.  Members of the pack ventured out for our first hike of the summer, starting in Fremont and hiking the Coyote Hills trail near the bay.  All scouts participating earned the segment patch as part of the Trail Trekkers program.

6/21-6/24 - Webelos Adventure Camp at Camp Cheseburough.  Seven members of our Webelos headed up to Camp Cheseburough for 4 days and 3 nights of camping and fun.  The boys participated in shooting sports, crafts, knot tying, rock climbing, nature activities, and more.

6/16/12 - Scout Night at the San Jose Giants.  The Pack gathered at SJ Municipal stadium for this annual event.  We kicked the night off with a traditional tailgate in the parking lot, the Scouts participated in pre-game ceremonies, we watched a great game of baseball, the Scouts ran the bases after the game, then we pitched our tents in the outfield to watch a movie on the scoreboard and camp out.

5/26/12 - Memorial Day RemembranceMembers of the Cub Scout Packs along with several Girl Scout Siblings headed out to mark the graves of former service men and women with a flag as part of Memorial Day Remembrances.  Each flag was placed, saluted, and the service men and women were thanked for their service.

5/19/12 - Creek Clean Up.  As Part of the National River Clean Up day campaign, Pack 32 cleaned the banks of the San Thomas Aquino Creek starting from the Santa Clara Convention Center out to the Bay.  The Pack removed and estimated 250lbs of trash from the creek, ensuring it won't end up in the bay.

5/12/12 - Scout-o-Rama.  This is the annual scouting fair where units throughout Santa Clara County Council host booths with games, activities, demonstrations, and more.  Pack 32's booth was our bean bag toss game where participants must identify how to properly dispose of different types of house hold waste.

4/28/12 - Annual Water Rocket Derby.   Scouts who signed up for this council event were given a kit to build a rocket that would be powered by water and compressed air.  Rockets were judged based on total time in the air.

02/27/12 - The Blue and Gold Banquet portraits.  At this years celebration of Scoutings 101st year one of the Pack family members who is a photographer was nice enough to take portraits of all the Pack members.

02/25/12 - The USS Pampanito.  Our crew of Scouts got a taste of what life was like for a WWII submariner while staying the night aboard the The USS Pampanito.  The Scouts learned about the boat's design, history, and her missions, then spent the night as members of her crew.

01/28/12 - Pinewood Derby.  This Cub Scouting Tradition has scouts build a race car from a pine block and compete against one another, the race also featured a separate race for the siblings and an outlaw division for the parents.  This years event was held surrounded by exotic cars at VIP motors in their show room.

01/14/12 - Trail Treker's Hike to Redwood Regional Park in Oakland.  Members of the Pack gathered for a 6 mile hike through the local redwood forest. 

12/10/11 - Ice Skating at Shark's Ice.  The Pack got together for a day of family fun on the ice, while working on their ice skating belt loop.

11/11/11 - Pack 32 marches in the San Jose Veteran's day Parade.  Despite the rain, 15 scouts and their families braved the elements to pay tribute to America's Service men and women.

10/21/11 - 10/23/11 - Fall Family Camp is a tradition we could never do without.  Approximately 80 attendees came out to the SCCPOA property in the Saratoga foothills.  The boys earned their participated in an orienteering treasure hunt while working on their Map and Compass academic awards, they played some dodgeball, and worked with their dens on advancement.  The evening featured our campfire with skits performed by the dens, songs led by the Cubmaster, and a flag retirement ceremony.  As usual Cubmaster Rob cooked up amazing meals for all.

09/19/11 & 09/20/11: Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival.  Pack 32 held our Baked Potato booth fund raiser at the Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival.  The Baked Potatoes were graciously donated by Sweet Tomatoes.  The Boys had fun while practicing life long skills such as communication, attention to detail, safe food handling, totaling orders and making change.

08/21/11 - Troop 394 hosts a picnic.  One of the local Boy Scout Troops hosts a summer picnic for local Cub Scouts at the Santa Clara Elks Lodge.  Great food and games, and even a giant inflatable water slide.

08/19/11 - Scout Day at the Circus.  Members of the Pack got together to visit the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus.  The Scouts had the opportunity to go down on the circus floor and receive a special hands on clinic hosted by some of the clowns before the show began.

08/06/11 - Service Project at Washington Open.  Pack 32 stripped and repainted an outdoor stage area and benches in appreciation for the School allowing the Pack to use their facilities throughout the year.

07/23/11 - Beach Trip to Twin Lakes State Beach.  Pack members head to the beach to meat up with some of our brother scouts from Pack 43 for a day of fun in the sun.  The main attraction was a sand sculpture competition between the two Packs.  Pack 32 received the most creative award for our Imperial Star Destroyer.

07/16/11 - Marin Headlands Hike at Rodeo Lagoon.  Several members of the Pack came out as Trail Master Tudor lead our hike around the salt water Rodeo Lagoon at the Marin Headlands.  The boys also visited one of the old coastal defense batteries that used to protect San Francisco Bay.  All who completed this hike earned a segment of the Trail Trekkers patch and completed the requirements for the Hiking Belt Loop.

07/02/11 - Castle Rock Park Hike.  A few members of Pack 32 lead by Assistant Cubmaster Tudor, headed up to the Santa Cruz Mountains for a beautiful hike in Castle Rock State Park.  The boys brought their helmets and spent some time climbing some of the parks many boulders.

06/11/11 - Trail Trekkers Hike  Members of the Pack headed to Sunol to hike the Little Yosemite segment of the Trail Trekkers Hiking Program.  The scouts participated in a pre-hike safety discussion, examined some of the items one might bring on a hike in order to be properly prepared, and what to do if you get lost in the woods.  The Scouts then headed out to examine many of the parks geological features along the trail.

06/05/11 - Summer Picnic.  Pack 32 kicked of our Summer activities program with our annual Pack Picnic.  This years event was held at Santa Clara's Central Park.  Families come to enjoy food and fun including the debut of two stick hockey boxes made by one of the new wolf dens.

05/28/11 - Memorial Day Flag Placing - 26 Cub Scouts from Cub Scout Pack 32 and Pack 43 placed American Flags at the head stones of graves of American Veterans throughout the Santa Clara Mission Cemetery.  Scouts took a moment to salute and honor each Veteran for their service.  Press Release

05/21/11 - Creek Clean Up as part of National River Clean Up Day, Cub Scout Pack 32 hosted a creek clean up site near Great America and Tasman.  Thirty-six family members of Pack 32 along with Nineteen other community volunteers removed trash and debris from both banks of a 1.25 mile stretch of the creek.  In all 350 pounds of trash and 10 pounds of recyclables were removed, additionally countless golf balls were rescued and returned to the adjacent driving range.  Press Release

05/07/11 - Scout-O-Rama Santa Clara Councils annual festival of Scouting.  Units from all over the county come together at History Park in San Jose and host booths with all kinds of games, activities, crafts, and demonstrations.  Our Pack hosted a bean bag toss game that required Scouts to identify different types of house hold waste and sort them accordingly (trash, recycle, compost, hazardous).  The other main event was Cubmobile push cart races, this was a big hit with all that participated.

05/01/11 - Oakland Athletics Scout Day. Participating scouts enjoyed a tailgate party, joined the pre-game parade honoring bay area Scouting, and had a great day out at the ball park.

04/30/11 - Harris Lass House Museum Color Gaurd.  Members of Pack 32 performed the opening flag ceremony for a community event being held at the Harris Lass House Museum.  Part of the festivities included this new flag be dedicated to all of the museum volunteers being raise for the first time over the museum.

04/09/11 - 10th Annual Santa Clara Council Water Rocket Derby.  Scouts who signed up for this council event were given a kit to build a rocket that would be powered by water and compressed air.  Rockets were judged based on total time in the air.

03/14/11 - See Video Clips as Each Cub Scout received one water balloon for every $250 in Popcorn sold, Scouts then lined up to throw water balloons at Cubmaster Rob.

03/12/11 -  Bike Ride On one of the few sunny days this March the families of Pack 32 gathered for a bicycle safety check and ride down the San Thomas Aquino Bike Trail out to the future San Francisco 49er Stadium site where we took a break to watch some car racing before returning back.

02/28/11 - Blue and Gold Banquet.  Pack 32 celebrated its 60th anniversary with a giant pot luck dinner party.  The Scouts provided entertainment and displayed some of the activities they had been working on this year. You can also seem some video from the event here.

01/29/11 - Pinewood Derby. This Cub Scouting Tradition has scouts build a race car from a pine block and compete against one another.  This year we added a separate race for the siblings and an outlaw division for the parents.

12/04/10 -
Top Spin Table Tennis sporting belt loop event.  This years annual sporting event was held at Top Spin Table Tennis.  The boys were instructed by the US Men's Olympic Coach and a member of the US Women's team.  After some instruction and demonstrations the boys were off to try out what they learned. 12/04/10 -
Bear Den Home Depot Kids Workshop.  The Bear Den gathered at Home Depot for the kids workshop to build picture frames.  They practiced proper tool safety as they get ready for the big Pinewood Derby Build.

11/21/10 - Tiger Den 4 Coyote Hill Hike.  Braving the rain, a couple of Tigers and their parents took a day hike to Coyote Hill.  They had fun, enjoyed some beautiful scenery, and learned about Indians from the area.

11/20/10 -
Scouting for FoodCub Scout Pack 32 collected 1026 lbs of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank as part of the BSA's annual Scouting for Food program.  Scouting for Food is one of the best activities to teach our boys about serving others, about doing a Good Turn.  There are hundreds of families within our communities that depend on our local food pantries.  Through this community service activity our Cub Scouts experience how their work positively impacts people. (Santa Clara Weekly Article)

11/11/10 -
Veteran's Day Parade.  At the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month (the anniversary of the end of World War I), Fifteen Cub Scouts from Pack 32, along with their families, gathered to join The American Legion Post 419 to honor America's Veterans.  Members of the Pack formed up near the San Jose Arena and marched with The American Legion east along Santa Clara St to Plaza de Cezar Chavez at Market St in the 92nd annual San Jose Veteran's Day Parade. Press Release

11/06/10 -
Tiger Dens 3 & 4 go to the Santa Clara Fire Station 4 and learn about fire safety and how Fire Fighter help their community.

10/15/10 - 10/17/10:
Fall Family Camp.  As is tradition we headed out for our fall family camp.  This event was attended by over 20 families, and held at the SCCPOA property in the Saratoga foothills.  The boys earned their hiking beltloops in the morning and their volleyball belt loops in the afternoon.  The evening featured our campfire with skits performed by the dens, songs led by the Cubmaster, and a flag retirement ceremony....oh and s'mores.

10/02/10: 
Cub-O-Ree.  The Council's kick off the year event featuring BB gun shooting, Archery, Rock Climbing, Arts and Crafts and much more.  A group of our newest scouts headed up to join in the fun.

09/18/10 & 09/19/10:
Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival.  Once again Pack 32 held our Baked Potato booth fund raiser at the Santa Clara Art and Wine Festival.  The Baked Potatoes were graciously donated by Fresh Choice at Cupertino Square.  The Boys had fun while practicing life long skills such as communication, attention to detail, safe food handling, totaling orders and making change.

08/22/10: Troop 394 hosted picnicA day of fun in the sun hosted by Boy Scout Troop 394 at the Santa Clara Elks Lodge.  The day featured a water slide, volleyball, horse shoes, food, and much more.

08/07/10: Uvas Canyon County Park Day Hike.  Some of the families gathered for a day hike along the waterfall loop trail.  The boys learned about trail safety, items to bring on a hike, what to do if you get lost, and about some of the plants and trees along the trail.  All of the boys in attendance earned their hiking belt loop award.

07/17/10:
Natural Bridges Beach Trip.   A day at the beach....children, sand, water, and shovels equals a lot of digging.  This trip also a short walk over to the tide pools just as the tide was coming in.

6/26/10: San Jose Giants Scout Night.  The boys were able to participate in a pre-game parade, watch the game, run around the bases after the game, camp in the outfield, and watch a movie on the scoreboard.  Each boy received a commemorative patch for attending the event.

5/29/10:
Memorial Day Flag Placement.  Along with members of Troop 394, Pack 43, and others, we placed American flags at the grave sites of veterans to honor their service to our country.

05/15/10:
Creek Clean up service project.  In conjunction with National River Clean Up Day, and the Creek Connection Group, Pack 32 hosted a clean up site near Great America.  Leading up to the event the boys had learned about water pollution, storm water run off, and how to prevent normal house hold waste from getting into the creeks and bay.

01/30/10: At our annual Pinewood Derby, the top popcorn sellers were rewarded.  Each boy was given 1 whip cream pie for every $250 in sales and was given the chance to throw that pie in the face of his leaders.

01/30/10: Pack 32 held its annual Pinewood Derby race.  This Cub Scouting Tradition has scouts and their parents build a race car from a pine block and compete against one another for trophies and glory.

01/09/10: The Den 9 Wolves, held a group pinewood derby build at one of the parents home wood shop.
