Dues and Fees

We are conscious of the many expenses families face every day.  We try very hard to minimize the cost of our dues and activities

Annual Pack membership dues for 2013-2014
$150for the first Scout in the family
$100 for each additional Scout in the family

This amount covers the council fees, Pack T-shirt, covers the cost of all awards, insurance for registered members on Pack outings, as well as the cost of some activities.

No boy is turned away: Every boy should be entitled to the same scouting experience regardless of a families ability to pay. For those for whom the dues and fees present a financial hardship a scholarship fund has been established.  Scholarships are available to cover Pack dues, Family Camp and Summer Camp fees.  For more information contact the Cubmaster or the Committee Chair for details.

Boys Life: Is a magazine published by the Boy Scouts of America for its youth members.  You may subscribe to this at the time you register for a special discounted rate of $12 for one full year.  For more information about Boy's Life magazine click here.

Family camp: Twice a year we venture out with our families and camp in the great outdoors.  We take this opportunity to learn many scout skills such as knot tying, compass work, first aid, and outdoor cooking.  We also hit the trail for a nature walk.  Fall Family Camp fees are included in the annual dues.

Council Events: The council puts on several events and activities through out the year.  Events include Archery and BB gun shooting opportunities, the water rocket derby, Scout-o-Rama, Haunted Forrest, Family Camps, and more.  While members of the Pack may participate in these events as individuals or as a group, their cost is covered fully by attendees.

Summer Camp:  The council runs summer camps and resident camps that are age appropriate. Activities often include archery, BB guns, arts, crafts, fishing, and climbing wall depending on the camp's facilities.  The cost of these camps is covered by those who choose to attend.  For more information on summer camps click here.
Parents will have to fill out an annual medical form for their son as well as for themselves in order to attend camps.
