Hi,
I am Dan Strellis. I'm in my third year as Cubmaster of Pack 32. This is the best volunteer position imaginable. We are in middle of another great year. We hosted a Baked Potato sale in September, went camping as a Pack in October, and held our Pinewood Derby in January. We are a unit of 63 scouts ranging from Kinder to 5th grade. This spring we hold our Blue and Gold banquet on Feb. 28 and are going camping as a Pack in March. I love Scouting! I was a Cub Scout for a
few years as a youngster going up the Illinois. I have fond memories of
building crazy cars and then losing races in the Pinewood Derby and going
camping with our Pack. As a father of one scout in Pack 32 and one who recently moved on to Boy Scouts, I’m re-living and
loving the Scouting experience as an adult Leader. My father is an Eagle Scout
and through his experiences, he taught me many useful scouting skills like
camping, canoeing, cooking, hiking, and embracing the sense of adventure. My
parents taught me a lot about honor, courtesy, modesty, and teamwork. As your
Cubmaster, I will “Do My Best” to demonstrate and teach these virtues to your
scouts. If you are considering Scouts for your son, I hope you will join my family as we venture down the Scouting Trail. Pack 32 has an exciting and rich program aimed at getting our sons Prepared For Life! Feel free to email me cubmaster@pack32santaclara.net at any time.
