Midterm 2, W 11/4: the exam will cover from HW 12 through HW 22.5, and their corresponding sections. Start reviewing two weeks in advance. A good way to review is to redo as many homework problems as you can, without at any aids of any type (pretend you're taking a test).

Calculators are not required for this course --- you can instead use a computer for homework problems that have a calculator symbol next to them in the book; but the ones that don't have the symbol and can be done by hand should be done by hand, because exams are by hand only.
