Articles & Journals

Have an Article Citation?

Use the "Journal Finder" link on the Library Homepage to see if the library owns your journal in print or electronic format. You can search for your journal name using the search box or browse to it using the hyperlinked letters.

If your journal is NOT listed, Oxy does not own it in print or have access to it through one of our subscription databases. You will need to request a copy of the article through interlibrary loan.

Need to Search for an Article?

Use the "Research Guides by Subject" link on the Library's homepage to find databases on a given subject. You can also see the complete list of databases we subscribe to by clicking here.

Oxy subscribes to many different databases; some of the databases are subject specific while others are useful for a wide array of research topics. The databases that cover a broad number of disciplines and topics include:
  • Project Muse
  • ProQuest.
You can get to these databases via the alphabetical list of databases.
Google Scholar can produce helpful results for numerous disciplines as well.
