Registration meetings are held remotely via Google Meet. A meeting ID and call-in number will be provided by email. Note: Video is not required for these meetings. The District utilizes a central registration process for all students in grades Preschool through 12. Parents/guardians should follow the steps below to register their child(ren) into the Oxford Public Schools. 2021-2022 School Year Important Information:

REQUIRED FORMS AND DOCUMENTATION (click the blue link to open the form) The required documentation below may include items that must be collected and provided by the parent. These can be emailed or faxed to the contact information above. PDF Scanner: If you do not have access to a scanner or fax machine, there are free apps accessible to those with smartphones that allow users to scan documents and email them. To view a list of several available free scanner apps, click here. Please print the checklist below and utilize it to ensure you have acquired the following documentation: Checklist for Parents - The checklist provided lists the materials needed in order to register your child for school. Below are the documents needed laid out in steps. Step 1 - Online Registration Form Registration System: You will be asked to create a secure family account the first time you use this registration system. Please remember the email address and password used to create this account so you can access the account at a later time for editing or registering additional students.
Step 2 - Legal Documentation Parent/Guardian should gather documents below for each student being registered.
Step 3 - Proof of Residency Parent/Guardian must provide the following Proof of Residency documents. If you are unable to provide this information, please contact the Registrar.
Step 4 - Health Documentation Please review the School Health Policy and Procedures. The Health Record and Certificate of Immunization must be completed or provided by your child's Primary Care Physician. These documents can be provided by the parent/guardian or faxed to the Registrar's office by your child's doctor. Please refrain from emailing medical documents in compliance with HIPAA Privacy Laws.
Step 5 - Free & Reduced Lunch Information (Optional) If you qualify for Free & Reduced Lunch based on received financial assistance or income. Not applicable for Preschool students. Note: Applications must be submitted each new school year. New school year applications are made available in August prior to the first day of school.
Step 6 - School Records Parent/Guardian should complete the withdrawal process from the school that the student(s) will be leaving and direct the school to fax all documents below to the attention of the Registrar at (508) 987-6054 and/or mail them to 4 Maple Road, Oxford, MA 01540. If possible, please come to the registration meeting with the documents below to accelerate the registration process.
Step 7 - Make an Appointment Parent/Guardian should contact the Registrar to make a virtual appointment complete the registration process. Please email or fax all of the required documentation above to the Registrar prior to the scheduled virtual meeting to ensure all proper documentation has been received. All appointments will be held remotely via Google Meet. Note that video is not required and you can access the remote meeting via the link or call-in number and code provided to you by email. Appointment Times: Monday - Friday 8:00AM - 3:00PM Appointments are scheduled in 30-minute intervals within the allotted hours above. IMPORTANT - It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to ensure the District receives the required documentation for registration. Incomplete student registration folders will not be forwarded to the schools for enrollment. |
