I will also be assigning activities for students to complete at home. Refer to the family letter sent home with individual student logins and passwords in the Newsletters folder below.

Envision Math Program
Our Envision Math Program offers a variety of Common Core related skills to support students in the subject of Mathematics. Each topic explores another area: whether it be measurement, place value, time, fractions, addition or subtraction.

Homework
  • Children should read nightly, on their own or with someone, for at least 15-20 minutes. Don't forget to fill out the Chaffee Readers form for every 10 minutes read.
  • Please be sure to study the spelling words and high-frequency words EVERY night for our Friday test . They are sent home on Monday.
  • Your child will typically receive nightly math homework.
  • Fundations Spelling words for the week of 4-9-18: Long Vowel-Consonant-e: cube, grade, stove, whine, chase, throne
  • High-Frequency Words for the week of 4-9-18: another, climb, full, great, poor, through
  • Vocabulary Words for the week of 4-9-18: certain, observe, remained, thoughtful, vast, leaped, stretched
  • Math for the week of 4-9-18: Topic #14 Using Data to Answer Questions: 14-1,14-2
