Oxford Pride Events:

Fundraising Events - These are located at venues in the Oxfordshire area, and are a variety of different activities, from shot selling, to bucket shaking in the City Centre. More information will be emailed to volunteers about specific events as they arise.

Festival Events - These are events that take place throughout the Pride Festival, organised by Pride, community organisations and partners. Volunteers are needed to attend the events, and help to provide information about Oxford Pride to the attendees.

Pride Parade - The Parade takes place on Pride Day. Volunteers are required to staff the meeting point to provide a presence from mid-morning, until the Parade leaves. Volunteers will assist the Parade Coordinator in assembling the Parade, and escorting the Parade safely through the city to the Event.

Pride Day Event - The Pride Day Event is a large undertaking which would be impossible to run without volunteers. There are a wide range of opportunities for volunteering at the Event.

These include helping to set-up, collecting donations, assisting committee members, providing information to attendees, and helping to pack away after the event. Volunteers will be assigned to shifts, and not expected to work for the entire day.

Each volunteer will be provided with a schedule for their shift at a meeting held before the event day.
