With just 10 days to go until the main Pride Event, it's time to start looking at what's coming up in the upcoming Festival Week!!
There's a host of different events to be part of including a picnic at Summer 8's in Christ Church Meadow, the now (almost) famous Dog Show on Sunday 29th May, which starts at 4pm within the grounds of the Castle Quarter.
On Monday 30th May it's time to get your brain in gear as we head to The Jolly Farmers on Paradise Street for the monthly quiz. There's a series of amazing micro talk on Tuesday being held at Trinity College from 6pm, and then a talk on Charlotte New with the Oxford Lesbian History Group.
There's a laugh a minute guaranteed at Plush on Wednesday 1st June as Oxford Pride celebrates it's second annual Comedy Night hosted by College Comedy Nights, tickets are £5 on the door, or £4 if you're wearing your Oxford Pride wristband that can be purchased from The Jolly Farmers bar.
Broken Spokes Bike Co-Op are opening their doors to everyone on Thursday so you can pimp up your bike ready for the Pride Parade on Saturday.
Friday 3rd June sees Oxford's first ever Trans Pride event "TranSpires" hosted by TransOxford. Starting in University Parks for a picnic at 12pm, the event will move for the late afternoon/early evening to The Castle Tavern for talks and drinks.
Then its the day itself!! Full details of all events can be found on the Festival pages of this site.
