I am pleased to have the opportunity to be the Health Science teacher at Livingston Academy.  I graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Nursing from Tennessee State University in 2010.  Prior to that I was a Licensed Practical Nurse for sixteen years. I love nursing and enjoy the opportunity to teach students.

The courses offered are Health Science, and Anatomy and Physiology. The courses are for students interested in pursuing a health care career after high school. These courses are designed to help students obtain a better understanding of health care careers, and the structure and function of the human body.

I am a wife and mother. My husband and I have four children ages: 21, 20, 18, & 14. Our daughter will graduate from UTC in December, our son is currently a Sophomore at UT Knoxville, our 18 yr old will attend lineman school in January, and our 14 yr old is a current 8th grader at Rickman Elementary.  My husband and I along with our three oldest children are all Livingston Academy graduates and have lived in this area all our life. My husband owns an excavating business.  We enjoy supporting our daughter in her sporting activities, and spending time with our children and family at Dale Hollow Lake.

I am excited to have your child in class. I look forward to meeting and talking with you.
