Applying To a Program in the Curriculum and Instruction Department

Application Process for Admission to these
C & I Programs: 
MAT or MST (Initial Certification)
MSED (Professional Certification)
MSED (Initial/Pro for Spec Ed or Lit)
  • Attend a program orientation and advisement session to start a preliminary review of your transcripts (Call Stancy Smith (315)-312-4052 to reserve a space for one of these monthly sessions).
  • Complete a formal application.
  • A committee of C&I faculty will review your application.
  • The Graduate Studies Office will notify you of your acceptance.

    • GRE's are required for Bachelor's GPA's below 2.7 ($160).
    • A resume with references from a professor and from a work supervisor.
