Ossining Staff Development Center

Welcome to the Ossining Staff Development Center site.

The Ossining Staff Development Center was established in 1992. Our mission is to support best practices and provide professional development opportunities for all educators. We are a single-district Center, which allows us to focus on specific needs of our diverse student population. Programs are developed by the Ossining Staff Development Center Policy Board, which is comprised of teacher representatives from each building, as well as business, higher-education, administration, parents and School Board representatives.

The Ossining Staff Development Center provides professional development courses for instructional strategies and best practices, technology training courses, informational workshops, study groups/action research groups, National Board Certification awareness; and graduate credit bearing courses. We are here to support the professional development of our new, as well as our seasoned, teachers and staff.
