Welcome to the Library Media Center webpage for Park Early Childhood Center (PreK-K) and Brookside School (Grade 1-Grade 2). Libraries are amazing places that provide students, young and old, with the tools and skills necessary to succeed. Not only are books available in the Library Media Centers, but information literacy as well as digital literacy (and safety) are taught by a certified Library Media Specialist.

Kindergarten, first, and second grade classes will rotate into the library in two week (K) or three week (1, 2) cycles to receive library instruction with their primary classrooms. Books are checked out during library classes and the loan period is two weeks, though we encourage books to be checked out more often!

The library media centers are places of wonder and discovery. Please feel free to stop in to explore a magical world or to learn more about your favorite animal.

 Mission Statement
The Ossining School Libraries are committed to the equitable education of all our students. We understand the importance of reading, and encourage and support reading widely for pleasure as well as for information. Our goal is to prepare students to locate, access, evaluate and utilize information in a variety of formats so that they will graduate as independent, socially responsible, information literate citizens as well as life‐long readers.
