STUDENTS:


Bear Crew Applicants:  Only current Bear Crew Juniors should have received the “Intent” form.  Sophomore applicants please disregard the delivery!  You will hear about your placement soon.  (KB)

Students:  As you are leaving school and driving past Pioneer Elementary, please don’t block the driveways that the parents or buses use to exit the school.  Leave enough space for both cars and buses to turn right or left.  Also be careful driving past the crosswalk by the JV baseball field.  The speed is 20 miles per hour!  Thank you for your cooperation.  (Thuline)

Heritage Assembly:  Come to the Asian American and Pacific Islander Assembly during Bear Time A in the PAC, to help support your peers in celebrating their heritage. (Grant)

DECA:  DECA members!  We want YOU!! To come vote for DECA officers in “room 1” today, during Bear Time A!  (Fabritius)

Drama Club Members and Thespians:  Drama club Members~ Come to the lecture hall today during Bear Time A or B to vote for end of the year awards and get signed up for the banquet next week! See Ms. Dorgan for details, or if you can't make the meeting! All votes due tomorrow at the end of the day (Dorgan)

Mascot: We have spirit, yes we do!  We have spirit, how bout you?!  Our cheer team is looking for an OHS student to be next year’s mascot for fall sports season.  If you are at least 5’8” and LOVE OHS Football, come see Mrs. Sorem in the ASB office to apply.  (Sorem)

Peer-Tutors:  Students interested in becoming peer-tutors next year can pick up an application at the front reception area.  Applicants must hold a 3.6 GPA or higher and have a teacher recommendation.  JUNE 2nd (date change) is the new deadline for all applications to be turned in!  (Harbor-Ayers)

Seniors:  Every senior needs to complete the Final Transcript Request/Scholarship and Awards Form that is printed on orange paper in the Career Center.  You can have your one free final transcript sent to the college of your choice or to your home with this form.  We would also like to recognize all scholarship and award winners at the Awards Assembly and in the Commencement Program.  Please list any scholarships you have received and plan to accept on the form which is due today. Seniors:  Are you interested in picking up your Graduation Tickets?  Be sure to complete your Senior Survey!  Link to the survey is on the OHS website; go to Counseling Center>>Senior.  Finish this survey before May 30th graduation ticket distribution.  (Boelts)

Financing & Money Management:  Are you interested in money?  How to budget your way through life?  Stop by the Career today during Bear Time A and share your thoughts on what you’d like to learn about financial independence.  We plan to offer a series of mini-sessions during Bear Time in 2017-18 school year dealing with Financing & Money Management.  All grade levels are encouraged to participate and there will be donuts!  (Boelts)

Attention All Seniors:  Don’t forget all library books are due back to the library Today.  If you have any problems concerning your overdue notices, please see Mrs. LeBlanc.  (Koss-Warner)

Attention All Freshmen, Sophomores & Juniors:  Your library books are due to the Library by Friday, June 9th.  (Koss-Warner)

SPSCC:  Seniors attending South Puget Sound in September, registration is open for FALL CLASSES!  Please be sure to complete your student account, student number and have taken the Accuplacer test prior to this date.  You will want to sign up as soon as possible to get into the courses, you want for the 2017-2018 school year.  DO NOT DELAY!  See Mrs. Boelts in the Career Center.
