Students who have successfully completed three years of construction technology will continue their final year in the program. The application of instruction delivery to an authentic environment is the primary goal in this course.

Comprehensive courses provide students with basic knowledge and skills required for construction of commercial, residential, and institutional structures. These courses provide experiences and information (typically including career opportunities and training requirements) regarding construction-related occupations such as carpentry, cabinetmaking, bricklaying, electrical trades, plumbing, concrete masonry, and so on. Students engage in activities such as reading blueprints, preparing building sites, starting foundations, erecting structures, installing utilities, finishing surfaces, and providing maintenance. Prerequisites: C (75%) or above in all courses, Construction Careers Exploration, Carpentry, and Framing Carpentry.
