IF you have an OMU email address ending in @osage.net, then below are directions from OMU to setup a Whitelist so that you can receive your report cards.  If you have questions with these directions please contact OMU for support.  Thank you.

Anti-Spam Service: Whitelist Osage School’s domain to receive emails

Osage Schools have begun emailing report cards to students. Be sure to add the school’s domain to your anti-spam service’s Whitelist to prevent it from being blocked. Please be aware that email senders can be forged, so as always, do not blindly click on any link or attachment within an email.

For OMU customers with osage.net email addresses using OMU’s MailRoute anti-spam service, here are instructions for adding a domain to your MailRoute Whitelist.

·        A whitelist is a list of e-mail addresses or domains that are considered to be spam free. This list allows the e-mails to be delivered to the user’s inbox instead of filtered out as spam. It does not let viruses, banned files or corrupted messages through.

·        A domain is the name to the right of the “@” sign in an email address like osage.net in domain@osage.net.

Log on to MailRoute

·        In your web browser (IE, Chrome, Firefox, Safari…) go to osage.net and left click on the “MailRoute Login Page” link.

·        Enter your email address and password, and then click on “Sign In”.

o   If you do not know your password, click on the “I forgot my password” link to have setup/reset instructions emailed to you.

Add a domain to the Whitelist page

·        Left click on the “My Settings” tab then on the “White/Blacklist” tab.

·        Left click on the “Whitelist” tab.

·        Left click on the “Add Whitelist” button to display the “Add Whitelist” screen.

·        In the “Email Address or Domain” field, enter:              osage.k12.ia.us

·        Left click on the “Save” button to save the school’s domain to your whitelist.

Exit MailRoute

·        Left click the “Sign Out” link in the upper right of the web page.
