Our mission is to enhance the education experience and
community opportunities for Orono Middle School students.

OMSPA is a non-profit, volunteer organization consisting of parents of 6th-8th grade students. It's led by an Executive Board of parents who meet on a monthly basis.

OMSPA sponsors and organizes a broad variety of enrichment programs to benefit all OMS students, including:
  • Grade Level Field Trips and Parties
  • Youth Frontiers Retreat (7th Grade)
  • 8th Grade Graduation Picnic
  • Conference Meals and Teacher Appreciation
  • Teacher Grants to Supplement Classroom Resources
  • Auditorium Sound and Light Upgrades
  • Media Center Support
  • Middle School Alumni Scholarship Award
  • and MORE!
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT! OMSPA funds its programs through student dues and fundraising activities.  Annual STUDENT DUES are $25/student and may be paid online or check/cash.  PAY STUDENT DUES ONLINE.

OMSPA plans, organizes and executes its programs by engaging OMS parent volunteers. Volunteer opportunities are available throughout the year and are posted on our website.  We have volunteer opportunities to fit any schedule.

OMSPA also communicates to families via informational emails, a quarterly e-newsletter, website and Facebook. Please feel free to contact any BOARD MEMBERS for questions, comments or suggestions.
