2016-17 School Year!

**Jump Into January Fitness Challenge for Phy. Ed - Take the challenge! Click on the link on the left sidebar for all the information.

The students will be setting fitness goals for the year. They will be working towards developing overall muscular strength, cardiovascular endurance, agility, and coordination while performing and recording their personal best scores in a variety of sport-related activities.  5th Gr. and 4th Gr students have been recording their scores on Google Classroom with Chromebooks, so that they can share their progress and scores with parents.

We are in our volleyball unit.  The emphasis will be on the elements of fitness and working towards improving coordination, agility, and accuracy through passing, setting, serving, and lead up games.   Safety and Character Counts! Pillars will be stressed throughout the unit.

**Please help your child to remember his/her tennis shoes for class each week.
