Welcome to the homepage for all things music at Moreland Hills Elementary School! Our goal is to provide students with a well rounded music education experience in their time here.

Students will grow in many areas including:

• proper voice use
• critical listening skills
• reading of music notation
• composition
• performance on a variety of percussion instruments from around the world
• performance on a woodwind instrument
• representation of music through dance
• performance on an instrument in band or orchestra once they reach 5th grade
• being part of a grade level performance each spring

While most of our instruction takes place during the school day, we also want to give students the opportunity to enhance learned skills at home. Please use the navigation tabs at the top of this page where you can find information about about our program, your child's music teachers, upcoming performances, and resources available to assist your child at home.
