Our exhibition will consist of 2 spaces : outdoor on the canal, and a space in the exhiion hall, with all the others.

workshop  : simple swarm robotics solving environmental problems. Stronger together.
sept 6~10
three sessions of 3 hours
1. pollution in the ocean :  the things we should take a look closer
2. (optional) fabrication your floating robot
3. making your unit, be part of swarm __search and follow 
4. (optional) more depth experiment
5. sailing and following

session 1 : focusing on ocean pollution (mainly oil spills) and what would be happened in the future. how we can deal with those problems with our own hands. Why it is so important to have participation of each one of us 
session 2 : making a real sensing boat 
               step_01 _ making a boat
               step_02 _ sensing object in the water (ultrasonic, color based object oriented sensors, or any kind of sensor detecting objects, lights)
               step_03 _ make your boat to follow the object detected.
session 3 :sailing and following, test it in the water

(2)         1-2 days of brainstorming for alternative/creative solutions+applications based on the ideas and components of SeaSwarm

Workshop goals

-       offer participants a solid understanding of the role of techonology in sustaining and improving the quality of the environment/earth

-       embracing the concept of crowdsourcing and opensource platform experience

What is today problems and what would be more serious problems in the future?
What solutions exist to study and heal our oceans? What is the future of ocean architecture?
Can such system of inhabitable structures and robots be truly sustainable?
