Cesar Harada     85cm long. 124cm high (top of mast to bottom of keel), 12cm wide. Foamboard + fiberglass, polyester resin. Basic HITEC Ranger 2N inside. Cable routing needs improvements. More powerful motors needed. Needs to self-centred / reset better. Better waterproofing needed.

Cesar Harada, Etienne Gernez, Piem Wirtz, Henrik Rudstrom  We wanted to make a 1m long Protei that would be inflatable and articulated with common materials with a low budget. This version did float well in the Maas river but too much friction on the cable and weak servos did not allow us to really maneuver it.   We used space bag and a teflon heat welder to make great and cheap inflatables!

Kisoon Olm, Cesar Harada, Sey Min, Jieun Yoo, Sunghun   50cm long, 80cm high. Wind sensor, accelerometers from a Wii-Nunchuk hack. 2 Ultra-sonic distance sensors for collision avoidance. X-bee connected to Arduino board streaming real-time sensor data to Logging PC.  Body : dry case, structure made of welded copper wires, all membranes are made of transparent adhesives. Evaluation dispositive : baby swimming pool and webcam with point tracking.   Collision avoidance did work out of the water but failed in the water.

Cesar Harada  99cm Long. ~5kg. Remote control. Entirely articulated. Wood, PVC sheet, polyester resin. Heavy, very maneuverable, going well upwind, precise. Very rugged, doesn't get trapped by algea.  Too heavy for the size, the floating line is too low.

Cesar Harada  98cm long. ~2.5kg.  Remote control. Front steering, 2 sails. wood, fiberglass, epoxy resin. Very light, fast, extremely maneuverable. Can control a 400cm tail with a 14cm rudder.    Sails really well.
