Workflow 

Questions => Decisions 

ask the right questions, create an open set



2.1 Hull shape 

all agreed a sheet based keel is good for testing different shapes.



2.3 flexible/articulated 

evaluate options for a rugged hull:

air-pressurised vers. foam filled segments vers. conventional solid, sheet based.


STREAMLINING:

all agreed on streamlining the segmented hull => flexible membrane vers. overlapping petals.

petals are more robust but complex -> need a lot of different shapes ; mechanical fragile, may get jammed.
