The students in Mrs. Creticos's 2nd grade class at Longfellow School in Oak Park, Illinois, researched animals that use camouflage to survive. We worked with our school teacher-librarian, Mrs. Pearce, to find our information and write our reports. Ms. Sallie Wolf, artist and author, was our Art Start artist this year. For six weeks we worked with Ms. Wolf to create pictures in a variety of different media of animals that camouflage. Please visit the links below to learn more about our school, district, and the Oak Park Education Foundation which allows us to have Art Start in our school.
