Congratulations to the men of the Interfraternity Council on a successful fall formal recruitment period! The executive council and four member chapters worked hard this year to implement new recruitment initiatives including a social media campaign, a direct mail campaign, redesigned orientation events, and improved face-to-face recruitment methods. These enhancements resulted in one of the community’s largest classes to date!
As an IFC community, the men handed out 112 bids and received 55 acceptances. Both of these numbers are a 50% increase from the same time period in 2010. The men are looking forward to continued growth as they implement their new continuous open bidding policy and welcome a new chapter on campus this spring.
