Lauren Sullivan is a Family Nurse Practitioner, board-certified by the American Academy Nurse Credentialing Center and licensed by the state of Wisconsin to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages. Her scope of practice includes health promotion and disease prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic health care problems spanning all ages from pediatric through geriatric.
She has been working in health care career for over twelve years starting as a nursing assistant. She went on to college and received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UW-Oshkosh and her Masters of Science in Nursing at Concordia University. She is currently working toward her Doctorate with hopes to teach at the University level.
Lauren is passionate about health promotion through patient education. She works in partnership with the patient to come up with an individualized treatment plan to best meet their needs. In her free time she enjoys being active with her husband and two children. Hobbies include cooking, fitness and stained glass.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree of Nursing in 2004 at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. I am working to achieve my School Nurse Certification for the State of Wisconsin.I have worked in several areas of health care. These include, the hospital, long-term care, and home care. I began my role as the School Nurse in March of 2013. I also work part time as an Emergency Room nurse.
My passion has always been to care for others. I strive to improve the health and safety of our students. This year I am focusing on individual student care plans and follow up care of student illness or injuries.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to go camping and spend time outdoors. I also try to find time to scrapbook and work on craft projects.
