Contrary to popular belief the practice of karate is not just about kicking and punching. Martial arts training has deeper benefit and meaning.

The practice of traditional martial arts can improve focus, concentration, self-confidence, self-esteem, respect for others, self- discipline, and leadership skills.

Lead instructor Rocky Conway has over 30 years’ experience in the style of Goju-Ryu Karate. His philosophy of training is traditional and is grounded in not only teaching self-defense, but the pursuit of improving mind, body, and spirit.

Karate Practice Attire and Equipment

There is some cost for a karate uniform and equipment. However, these items are not required until a few months after training begins. This allows some time for new students to determine if Karate is something they would like to pursue. The cost of a karate uniform (Gi) and padded sparring gear is around $50-$75. Your instructor can provide more details on this.
