FITNESS CLASS OVERVIEW

YOGA

Instructors: Sherry Conrady and Kristin Cunningham

Yoga is a form of exercise that uses slow movements and stretching.

It is good for increasing flexibility and balance. It is also good for relieving stress and relaxing.

6:30AM YOGA CLASSES WILL NOT BE HELD IF THE WEATHER IS BELOW 20 DEGREES.


CIRCUIT TRAINING

Instructors: Katie McElhaney, Carol Cable, Kristen Cunningham, Denise Morrow, & Aundy Duclos

This class is a full body workout. It will begin with a warm up, the actual class will be set up in stations of all kinds that will last for 1 minute, followed by 30 seconds rest. The class will typically end with stretching and abs. This is a very challenging class!!!

SILVERSNEAKERS

Muscular Strength & Range of Movement

Instructors: Katie McElhaney, Tracy Huffman, & Paula Brydges

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activity for daily living skills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a ball are offered for resistance, and a chair is used for seating and/or standing support.

STRENGTH CARDIO & ABS

Instructor: Katie McElhaney

A class full of movement, & a full body workout!! Floor exercises, weights, physio balls, and more! All levels of fitness welcomed!

LOW IMPACT AEROBICS

Instructor: Paula Brydges & Tracy Huffman

A cardio class designed to increase mobility, balance, and agility with movement through music. We use weights, tubes, and do floor exercises. Great for beginners!!

TABATA

Instructor: Kristin Cunningham & Katie McElhaney

The system is easy to remember: 20 seconds of work followed by 10 seconds of rest and repeat. The short rest intervals force the body to keep moving before it recovers from the previous set – that’s part of the reason Tabata leads to significant aerobic and anaerobic gains. It’s fast, intense and MADE FOR EVERYONE - every exercise can be modified in intensity to create a workout experience in which all participants can feel successful.

CARDIO DANCE

Instructor: Shondra Humphrey, Tracy Huffman, and Dawn Longan

A class full of movement!! From Latin dance to hip hop, you’ll get it all!!!! Cardio, toning, and lots of fun all in one class. NO DANCE EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!!

SPIN

Instructors: Katie McElhaney, Tracy Huffman, Paula Brydges, Cherokee Bell, Kellie Wynn, Denise Morrow, & Kristen Cunningham

Beginner’s class is 30 minutes and regular class is approximately 45-60 minutes of indoor bike riding set to music! Climb hills, sprint races, flat paces, etc. Be ready to work and sweat!

We also offer classes that include Spin as well as Circuit or Pilates.

STEP AEROBICS

Instructor: Cherokee Bell & Katie McElhaney

A classic is back - The Step! You’ll burn calories and shape your body with lots of varied, but never complex, choreography. Straddles and repeaters, V-steps and marches, step touches and knee lifts — this class features all your step favorites, making it fun with tempo variations and directional changes. So, get your Step out of storage if you are looking for a class that can help increase your strength, lose body fat, and gain cardiovascular endurance! All levels of fitness are welcome. You can do the moves without a Step too! We've got you covered! Equipment: Hand Weights, Mat, Step


PUMP IT UP

Instructor: Dawn Longan, Aundy Duclos, & Denise Morrow

Pump it up is a 45 minute class that will focus on using low-weight at High repetition. Pump it up is a total body work out that will help improve muscular strength and endurance.


CORE STRENGTHENING

Instructor: Dawn Longan

This class focuses on the stabilization, endurance or strengthening of the core muscles. It will include floor exercises, weights, physio balls, and more. Core focuses on abdomen, lower abdomen, hips, obliques, back muscles, and glutes. Core will be the main focus but this class will include strengthening in other muscles as well. All levels of fitness are welcomed.


PILATES

Instructor: Kellie Wynn & Kristin Cunningham

Will work on strengthening core muscles using weights, mini ball, and bands. Good for beginners and advanced participants.
