Lodging Options for the Sun & Moon Poetry Festival

OPA has collaborated with the Springs Motel and Glen Helen to provide a special rate for overnight guests and festival goers. The Outdoor Education Center (OEC) Cedar Center at Glen Helen and the Springs Motel have a limited number of reservations available. However, attendees may want to consider other options, such as AirBnb.

OEC Cedar Center

The following FAQs will be useful in planning a stay at the Cedar Center:

  • What is the rate for the Cedar Center?
    - The Cedar Center rate is $25 a night.
  • What are the accommodations at the Cedar Center?
    - The Cedar Center is a dormitory-style facility that accommodates up to 40 people.
    - Sleeping arrangements feature bunk beds. Please specify if you require a lower bunk.
    - The facility has a lounge area and a small kitchenette with a microwave, refrigerator, and toaster.
    - Please note that the facility doesn't have air conditioning and is shade-cooled.
  • Where should I park?
    - Parking is available at the Cedar Center for overnight guests. A parking permit will be provided to all those who book a space and should be displayed in guest vehicles.
  • When is check-in and check-out?
    - Check-in begins at 5 PM on Friday, September 13.
    - Sayuri will greet you at the Cedar Center and help you find a bunk.
    - Check-out is no later than 5 PM on Sunday, September 15.
    - At check out, please remove all personal items and dispose of your trash.
  • What should I bring besides my personal items?
    - Please bring twin-sized bedding, including pillows, sheets, and blankets. Please also bring bath linens. You may consider bringing a flashlight for the evening.
  • Who do I contact with questions while I'm at the Cedar Center?
    - Please contact Sayuri Ayers at 513-443-2310. She will be on-site during the festival.
