A little bit about me:
I grew up in the Ogden area.  I love it here!  I am an avid hiker, biker, snowboarder, snow shoe-er, rock climber, if it's "outdoorsie" I enjoy it.  I graduated from Colorado Christian University with my degree in mathematics and secondary education.  I taught a year in Colorado before moving to Utah to be near my family.  I taught several years in Utah before taking an adventure to Alaska for my husband's job.  After a few years, I decided the winters were a bit too cold and dark for me, so my husband agreed to move us back to my beloved Utah.  In the course of our crazy jumping around I have taught in public, private, and charter schools and worked with kids from 5th-12th grade in math.  I have 2 crazy little boys, Daxton, age 4, and Zachary, age 3, a Siberian husky and have been married to my husband Chris for 10 years.  I am excited to be at OPA this year and to work with your kids in math and science.  I know every student can find success in my class.  5th grade is going to be awesome!
