Spring Sports are in full swing. Mother Nature is not exactly cooperating, but our teams are doing their best to get ready indoors. Modified Baseball and Softball started practice today, so all teams should be listed on the athletic events calendar above. All coaches should also be providing practice schedules. If you have not done so already, please make sure to go on FamilyID and fill out your son or daughters information, as this information is vital in case of an emergency. Also, with the recent weather and other school calendar conflicts, the Spring Sports Meet the Coaches Night has been pushed back. This is tentatively scheduled for the first week of April and more information will be coming, including a School Messenger phone call. Thank you and as always contact me with any questions or concerns. GO WOLVES!!!

OESJ Captains Club

Captains Club is a NYSPHSAA sponsored student leadership program developed to promote school pride, sportsmanship, integrity and mentoring through athletics and to set expectations for what it means to be a team leader. The group is facilitated by Athletic Director, Mr. Adam Heroth, and the focus is on expectations for team captains, how to improve school spirit and the students' vision for the OESJ school district.

Implemented in the Fall of 2016, the Captains Club played a major role in putting together a very successful school spirit week and homecoming parade, and most recently volunteered its time to assist the Toys for Tots program to bring many gifts to the students of the OESJ CSD. Pictures from that event can be found below.
