Important Announcements/Dates:

Winter Sports begin Monday, November 6th. Please make sure to check with Mrs. Lape in the nurses office to see if you need an updated physical. There will be sports physicals completed this Wednesday, November 1st in the nurses office. You will also need to complete a health history form before you can start practicing for any sport. Please call or email me with any questions or concerns. GO WOLVES!!!

OESJ Earns First Victory Ever

Von Baker finished with a 44 to lead Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville to a WAC victory over Northville-Mayfield at Sacandaga Golf Club. It was the first victory for OESJ, which is fielding a varsity golf team for the first time this season. Keagan Clemons posted a 52 for the Wolves, Austin Hayes had a 55 and Jeb Brundage carded a 69. Casey Watson and Jesse Watson each had rounds of 74 for OESJ.

Congratulations to Tyler Brado for his many accomplishments in Track & Field this season, as he continues on to the New York State Qualifiers. 

Update: Tyler cleared 6-06 (new PR) to qualify for States in the high jump! Good luck Tyler!

Tyler set the new WAC High Jump record with a jump of 6-05

Tyler was the Section 2 Class 5 Champion in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, and High Jump.

OESJ Captains Club

Captains Club is a NYSPHSAA sponsored student leadership program developed to promote school pride, sportsmanship, integrity and mentoring through athletics and to set expectations for what it means to be a team leader. The group is facilitated by Athletic Director, Mr. Adam Heroth, and the focus is on expectations for team captains, how to improve school spirit and the students' vision for the OESJ school district. 

Implemented in the Fall of 2016, the Captains Club played a major role in putting together a very successful school spirit week and homecoming parade, and most recently volunteered its time to assist the Toys for Tots program to bring many gifts to the students of the OESJ CSD. Pictures from that event can be found below.
