Important Announcements/Dates:
  • All athletes planning on playing a Fall sport MUST complete a Physical before their first practice. This can be done by your private physician or by the school district physician and the proper paperwork must be submitted. Please see the attachment on the upper left side of the page to print out the physical form. The next and the last date for a school physical will be Thursday, August 10th at the Jr./Sr. High School Nurses Office. Please fill out the health history form prior to the physical or plan on filling one out at the physical. All athletes MUST fill out a Health History Form before the first practice. This is also linked in the upper left corner of this page.

  • The Fall JV & Varsity Sports season begins Monday, August 14th. All Fall Modified Sports will begin on Monday, August 21st. Please contact me with any questions.

Addie Brundage, Fidelis Care Athlete of the Week

Senior Addie Brundage has been recognized as the News Channel 13 Fidelis Care Athlete of the Week. Addie earned this honor for her hard work and accomplishments both on and off the soccer field. The OESJ family is extremely proud of Addie! Please watch and enjoy her video below.

Congratulations to Tyler Brado for his many accomplishments in Track & Field this season, as he continues on to the New York State Qualifiers. 

Update: Tyler cleared 6-06 (new PR) to qualify for States in the high jump! Good luck Tyler!

Tyler set the new WAC High Jump record with a jump of 6-05

Tyler was the Section 2 Class 5 Champion in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, and High Jump.

AJ Hayes scores 1,000 points for his Career.

In a game @ Fonda vs. Schoharie on Tuesday, February 14th, AJ reached the 1,000 point milestone. We are very proud of AJ for all of his hard work for the Wolfpack throughout his career. Congratulations AJ!

OESJ Athletics recognized Dylan Klock, class of 2016,  for scoring 1,000 points (1,357 for his career) at a recent home basketball game. He was presented a commemorative game ball that will be placed in the trophy case at the Jr./Sr. High School. His coach, and current OESJ Boys Varsity Basketball coach, Jason Brundage, presented him with the ball.

OESJ Athletics recognized Rylie Smith, Class of 2015, for scoring 1,000 points (1,212 for her career) at a recent home basketball game. She was presented a commemorative game ball that will be placed in the trophy case at the Jr./Sr. High School. Her former coach, Sam Lynch, presented her with the ball.

OESJ Captains Club

Captains Club is a NYSPHSAA sponsored student leadership program developed to promote school pride, sportsmanship, integrity and mentoring through athletics and to set expectations for what it means to be a team leader. The group is facilitated by Athletic Director, Mr. Adam Heroth, and the focus is on expectations for team captains, how to improve school spirit and the students' vision for the OESJ school district. 

Implemented in the Fall of 2016, the Captains Club played a major role in putting together a very successful school spirit week and homecoming parade, and most recently volunteered its time to assist the Toys for Tots program to bring many gifts to the students of the OESJ CSD. Pictures from that event can be found below.
