Graduation Ceremony

 ** Thursday, June 27, 2019 time TBD. **  
The graduation ceremony will be held at the Metropolitan Bible Church located at 2176 Prince of Wales Dr, Nepean, ON K2E 0A1.


Grad Gowns can be picked up on Tuesday, June 25th from 1-3 or Wednesday, June 26th from 9-11 at the Tuck Shop in the atrium of ST. Mother Teresa School. RETURN Grad Gowns at the Metropolitan Church as soon as the ceremony is complete to receive your diploma.

Each graduate will be given 2 tickets for guests. 
Students can request extra tickets by going to my.mths.ca between Wed, May 1st and Friday, May 31st. No extra tickets can be requested after May 31st. Students will be informed exactly how many extra tickets they will receive shortly thereafter.

Graduation tickets may be picked up in Student Services from Friday, June 14th-Wednesday, June 26.

Important Notice: In order to attend the graduation ceremony, students must have the 40 hours of community service completed by Friday, May 31, 2019.

Grad Fees
Dates for collection: OCT 10th-Oct 31st
Grad fees are $85 and payable by cheque to: St. Mother Teresa High School or online.  If paying by cheque, please go to Room 130 with your payment.
MT School Letter
The application deadline for the MT School letter is Monday, May 6, 2019. The school letter is awarded to eligible recipients at the Grad Mass. Criteria and the application are found in the left menu under Grade 12 Information - MT School Letter.
 
Grad Mass/Day
  • Thursday, May 23, 2019: Breakfast, graduation rehearsal, outdoor mass, grad activities and a food truck-doesn't get better than this!

Prom
The Prom will take place on Friday, May 24, 2019.
 
Important Notice: In order to attend the Prom students must have the 40 hours of community service completed by Friday May 10, 2019.

Important Information Regarding Prom 2019: Prom tickets are $85 each. Purchase online or will be on sale, in the atrium, late March during high school lunch. Students may pay for their prom tickets (and guest) only after they have visited my.mths.ca and registered for tickets and input the required information. Students will not be given their tickets until their account with the school is cleared, their community service hours have been documented and they have returned their signed prom agreement. Tickets will be given out, in the atrium, approximately 1 week before prom. 
 
Fairy Godmother of Ottawa is a non-profit organization dedicated to making prom night magical for all area teens. They collect new and almost-new formal dresses, shoes and accessories, and provide them free of charge to Ottawa area high school students who are unable to purchase their own prom attire. Check out their website http://www.fairygodmotherottawa.com/

Scholarships Awarded at Graduation
Each year at Graduation a number of students will receive various scholarships and bursaries. These awards come from the Ottawa Catholic School Board as well as various community partners.
More information about these scholarships/bursaries will be shared in March.
