Career Searches & Apprenticeship

Working in Canada is a new government website loaded with valuable information. A great starting point is to click on List of Occupations, browse the many occupations, click on one and scroll through the pages to read about wages, job descriptions, employment trends, etc. 


Employment Projection Use the drop down menu for NOC Title to select a job, click on Employment in the Available Components box. You can look at the numbers or convert it to a graph to look at employment trends for various occupations.


Career Exploration

The following website have good information about careers including job description, earnings, education and school info. They have an assessment tool that gives suggestions to careers that best suit you.
