A new year...a fresh start!  Awesome!
For many of us, a new year can mean a fresh start - a time to set new goals and to improve our ever growing and learning selves!  We have talked about goal setting, but more importantly, the follow through.  It is the HOW that is important.  Report cards are coming up and the students have been reminded how important the learning skills are above all else.  We have discussed how improving our learning skills will most likely lead to an improvement in academic performance.
This term we are focusing on independent work and self-regulation.  We have discussed how deadlines are deadlines.  Work is to be completed in a given amount of time.  Time is precious and we need to use it wisely!

I am always available and willing to discuss any concern or answer any questions you might have.  Please feel free to send a note in the agenda or call the school at any time.
