Summer office hours

The school office is 

1. open from July 4 to 22,
2. closed from July 25 to August 5,
3. open from August 8 to August 12,
4. closed from August 15 to August 19,
5. then open from August 22 onward.

Our summer office hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Report cards will be ready for pick up on Friday, July 8. Students (or their parents) should come to the Main Office get the report cards between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The Summer School Office opens July 5 and closes July 28. To reach the Summer School Office, call 613-834-4500 extension 286.

Human Library 2016

The Human Library event is being held at Sir Wil on March 23rd. Students will have access to a variety of “human books” throughout the day and will sign up in advance for 30-minute sessions to have discussions with the books of their choice.

Crisis Chat Service

Ottawa's Youth Services Bureau YSB goes On-line 
YSB recently launched a new online crisis chat service that allows youth to communicate in real time with a trained counsellor about anything that is troubling them. The service also extends to parents or anyone else seeking help for a young person. More information.

Literacy/Numeracy Program 

Our Literacy/Numeracy Program provides students in Grades 7 - 12 with a supervised opportunity to complete, review, practice and organize their work in order to help them achieve greater success at school. More information.

Honey Fundraiser

Local beekeeper, Canaan Road Farms, will be selling their raw, wildflower honey at the Parent Teacher interviews on Thursday, Oct. 22nd from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m in the rotunda. This is a fundraiser for the School Council and a portion of all the proceeds will go to assist school programs. Thank you for your support.

OCDSB Speaker Series

The OCDSB Speaker Series offers free presentations to the community and seeks to provide parents and educators with access to leading ideas in education that will allow us to work collaboratively to better support student learning. The series is sponsored by the District's Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) and supported through grant funding from the Ministry of Education.
