Module 2 - Finding a Job

A. Module Introduction:

Finding a job is not easy.  For most people, it is a time consuming process which requires research,  updating resumes, pounding the pavement, making cold calls, preparing for and attending interviews, accepting rejection and never giving up.  This module will provide you with tips, strategies, and skills that will be useful not only in securing a coop placement, but also for future job searches in your teen and adult life.

The module, which reviews some of our Grade 10 Careers Class curriculum, is comprised of 5 parts:  Job Hunting;  Application Forms;  Resumes;  Cover Letters; and Job Interviews.  There are 6 tasks that you will be required to submit for evaluation.  The due dates are indicated beside each task below.  Be sure to complete all the Activities in order to help you complete the Tasks.
