Info packages from AP will be arriving just before Christmas break. If you'd like to see the exam schedule for May 2017, you can find it on the AP website. Remember that the AP exams happen IN ADDITION to your regular class exams (AP exams are optional, your class exams are not).

AP Studio Art students should be working hard on their portfolios. Contact your teacher advisors for guidance on what to submit.

Hope you're enjoying your AP experience so far. If you'd like more resources to support your AP extension activities and to prepare for the exams, come see what we have for you in the JMSS Library.

January 2016

Coming Soon! Exam Registration!! Now's the time to think about whether you are going to take the AP exam for your course(s).  Some things to think about:

  • registration fees are $125 per exam
  • cheques should be made out to John McCrae Secondary School
  • registration must be completed by March 10, 2016
  • forms will be available in Guidance, the Library, on the door of prep room 309 (SocSci)
  • no refunds for exam fees will be possible after April 25, 2016
  • the AP exam is not a replacement for the exam in your regular course
  • how you do on your AP exam has no effect on your JMSS course mark
  • the mark you earn on your AP exam does not affect your university acceptance in Canadian schools
  • BEFORE you register check your schedule! AP exam dates are set by AP and cannot be changed
