Oberlin’s annual Culture Festival celebrates the diversity within Oberlin and raises awareness of languages and cultures from around the world. It is sponsored by Oberlin's International Student Organization (ISO), the Spanish in the Elementary School Program (SITES), Oberlin Young Educators (OYE), the City of Oberlin, and the Oberlin Center for Languages and Cultures (OCLC).
The 2012 Culture Fest will take place on Saturday, September 22, 1-4pm, on Tappan Square (rain date is September 23, same time and place).

The goal of the Oberlin Culture Festival is to bring folks together as a way to celebrate our town’s great cultural diversity while promoting open-mindedness and international awareness. We encourage you to come up with exciting ways to share culture-related interests you might have, promote upcoming cultural events, or showcase individual or collective talents. We are specifically looking for engaging, interactive, and educational demonstrations, hands-on activities (food tasting, playing games, making crafts, etc.), and performances. The Oberlin Culture Festival attracts a broad audience of all ages and backgrounds.
