I teach a variety of courses in the field of Comparative Politics, including Introduction to Comparative Politics, the Politics of Development, African Politics, and an International Studies course titled Introduction to Africa.

My recent course developments include a senior capstone seminar titled "Blood Diamonds and Petro-Politics: The Resource Curse in Comparative Perspective." I also have a teaching and research interest in the politics of dictatorships, and will be offering a course titled "Dictators and the Societies they Govern" through the Honors College in an upcoming semester.
