The roster is composed of NYU students, faculty, staff, alumni, and members of the diverse community around the University. The Pipe Major is Brian Meagher, a prize-winning piper who has led the band since its first performance at the University's Founders Day celebration in 1991. The Drum Sergeant is Nicole Kavanaugh. The Pipe Sergeants are Julianne Brown and James Felder; the Quartermaster is John Henderson.

The band is supported by the Office of Academic Program Review.
