Bo Yan

Hey folks, I am a Software Engineer at the Uber infrastructure team - uMetal. I currently work on automating the configuration and monitoring of tens of thousands of devices in various zones at Uber to serve our customers across the world.

Before joining Uber, I completed my Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at New York University. During my graduate study, I worked at the High-Speed Networking Lab led by Professor H. Jonathan Chao and Prof. Yang Xu at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering. I work closely with Prof. Yong Liu at NYU Wireless, Dr. Shu Shi and Dr. Rittwik Jana at AT&T Labs Research.

Before joining NYU, I received my Bachelor's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China. During my undergraduate study, I am a research member advised by Professor Wei Guo at State Key Lab of Advanced Optical Communication Network.
