Coaches


Jim Moll- 
Head Coach
Coach Moll has been the head coach of the program since the 2009-2010 season.  Prior to coming to Northwestern, he was an assistant coach at for one year at Palisades HS, and two years at Wilson HS.  He also spent 2 seasons coaching the JH team before taking over as the head coach.  

Jim is a 1999 graduate of Wilson Area High School where he was a 4-year starter, District XI Champion, 2X Regional 3rd, and a PIAA State Place-winner.  Upon Graduation he attended Delaware Valley College where he wrestled for three years before starting his coaching career while he finished earning his Bachelor Degree in  Education. He has coached multiple district, regional, and state place-winners throughout his career. 

Coach Moll has been teaching Technology Education at NWL Middle School since 2007. He currently lives in Bethlehem, PA with his wife, Stephanie, and their daughter Harper.  


Eddie Keichel -
Assistant Coach
Coach Keichel enters his second year coaching with the program. Prior to coming to Northwestern he coached at Oley Valley High School for 3 years.

Eddie is a 2009 graduate where he was a four year starter for the Tigers and a two-time District medalist. Upon graduation he attended Kutztown University where he wrestled for two years before starting his coaching career. While coaching at Oley he was able to coach the schools first ever AAA state medalist.

Coach Keichel is currently employed as an associate teacher at Nazareth Area Middle School. He currently resides in New Tripoli, PA.

Bobby Clymer- Head JH Coach/ HS Assistant



Scott Derr- Assistant Coach
This is Coach Derr’s third season as an assistant coach.  He also coached in the midget program for 7 years.  Coach Derr is a former Northwestern wrestler graduating in 1988.  In his 4 years of  high school wrestling he was a 4 time Jim Thorpe Christmas Tournament champion, 4 time Centennial League champion, 4 time District 11 champion, 3 time SE regional champion.  He was a 4 time state qualifier and placed 4th 2 times and 3rd one time.  Coach Derr was the first person at Northwestern to receive over 100 wins with a high school record of 124-12-3.  After graduation he attended Keystone College before entering into the Allentown Police Academy.  Coach Derr has recently retired from the Allentown Police Department after 23 years of service.  Coach Derr resides in the Northwestern School district.  He married to Tammy and they have 2 active children - Tyler and Sydney.
