Political Cartoon Assignment
After reviewing the elements of a political cartoon your assignment is to create your own 2 political cartoons.
Your 1st cartoon MUST BE about a the election.
Your 2nd cartoon may be on any ANY subject.
Be sure to utilize the characteristics and tools we have discussed in class within your own cartoon. (Think: exaggeration, labeling, analogy, irony)
Remember artistic talent is not the most important skill necessary to create a successful political cartoon. You may draw or use a computer. But all cartoons must be on blank white paper (no lined paper).
Also, for each cartoon you must answer the Analyzing Political Cartoon Questions. (Use proper heading the Analyzing Political Cartoon Handout)
Turn in your cartoons (2) and Analyzing Cartoon Questions stapled together on Friday October 26th.
