Geo Country Poem
Since writing is the KEY to learning,
it’s a poem I’ve been yearning
Several lines is the length of choice,
so be creative, insightful, give it a voice.
This poem is about country and maps, galore,
think thematic and explore.
Begin with a title,
this part is vital.
Line one includes the country’s name,
think; be different, don’t all be the same.
Line two describes a physical feature,
a mountain, an isthmus, but not a creature.
The third line should describe the climate.
Does tropical wet, or arid dominate?
Line four is your country’s vegetation,
be accurate, know the location.
Line five will be the population,
consider the density of your nation.
Line six must be resources and land use.
What does your country use and which do they abuse?
The last line must be the region of your country.
Just think, you are almost home free!
Challenge your inner Shakespeare,
knock this one out of this hemisphere!
So start thinking, start writing some verse,
don’t mess this up, or your grade will be cursed!
