Year you entered the teaching profession: I started my teaching career at Newman Grove, NE in 1995.  My next step in teaching took me to Omaha where I taught at Brooke Valley South behavioral disorder school.  Then I went to Lewiston Schools and taught for two years. 
Degrees Held & Institution Received From:  B.S. in Ed. from Peru State College, Masters in Ed. from Peru State College
Favorite thing about teaching: My favorite thing about teaching is getting to be around kids and help shape them for the future.  Also you can be a kid yourself in this profession.
Extra Duty Assignments:  Varsity Baseball Coach
Family:  My beautiful wife Jessica just took a job as the Director of Nursing at Mosaic in Beatrice.  I have two daughters, Kiersten attends Norris and is a 6th grader, Khilyn, who just turned  6 years old and is going to kindergarten this year at Norris, and Koyan who is 4 years old is going to preschool.  To round out the family we also have a Boston Terrier named Kipper.
Hobbies/Interest Areas: I love to coach baseball and wrestling.  I am currently serving on the Huskerland youth wrestling board.  I coached the Eagles Juniors American Legion baseball team during the summer and was recently named the varsity baseball coach at Norris.   Also, when I get a chance I go deer hunting with my dad
