Catherine Schenck-Yglesias is currently working with several Jhpiego business units in a team effort to implement an enterprise-level results information system, Jhpiego's Results Information System for Excellence (RISE). A former CDC Public Health Informatics Fellow, Ms. Schenck-Yglesias has worked both domestically and internationally on health informatics issues. From 2005 – 2008, Ms. Schenck-Yglesias served as Senior Health Informatics Advisor to the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), based at USAID, where she co-chaired the PEPFAR Health Management Information Systems (HMIS) Technical Working Group.
Ms. Schenck-Yglesias has 15 years of experience in public health program strategic information. She has advised on the application of information technology to health projects at the community, health facility, government and donor levels both in the US and on technical assistance visits to over 20 countries throughout Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas..
