WELLNESS DAY is May 5th!  We have some amazing guest speakers & activities for students in grades 9-12 planned for the day.  Activity sign-up sheets are in the office.

"Glee Club 2017-2018"  If you will be in grades 9-12 next year & like to sing & perform, this fun after school extra-curricular will be for you.  If interested in signing up, please email brookwoodgleeclub@gmail.com.  This is NOT a school sponsored activity, it is being organized by a parent so all inquiries should be addressed to the email listed above.  An informational meeting will be held at a later date.

All DIVERSITY CLUB MEMBERS are encouraged to stay after school this week to help prepare for the 19th Annual Community Night & Wellness Day. 

Seniors- Please start checking your school email for important announcements concerning graduation, baccalaureate, and more.

Do you enjoy doing hair?  Enjoy helping younger kids?  Falcon Pride is looking for volunteers to help do Elementary students hair for the Daddy-Daughter Dance on May 13th.  If interested please sign up in the guidance office.  Talk to Mrs. Pasch or Ms. Johnson if you have any questions.

Reminder:  All Norwalk CCD students are to ride bus #10 to Norwalk on Wednesdays.  

Seniors - Mrs. Ferries is looking for pictures of your younger years for the slideshow.  If you have any memorable pictures you'd like to share, please get them to her by April 28th.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Ferries.

SUMMER CLASSROOM DRIVER'S EDUCATION:  The Board of Education has approved moving our Classroom Driver's Education from the school year to summer school.  Classroom Driver's Ed. will run during this year's summer school, July 10-27, 2017.  Transportation to the school will be provided.  Students must be signed up by June 2nd.  If interested or have questions, please contact Mr. Pettit.

Attention Juniors:  Are you interested in attending a Youth Leadership Conference this summer?  If your parent is a member of the Oakdale Electric Cooperative you could qualify to attend one for FREE.  Please see Mrs. Pasch for more information by May 1st.  There is a scholarship opportunity available with this experience also.

SENIORS attending a 4-year college in the fall:  UW placement testing is NOW OPEN.  Please make sure to register & take your placement tests before the end of April.  It takes a couple weeks for the results & most universities will not let you register for your fall classes in the summer until they have your results!  if you need assistance, please see Ms. Cwiak.

SENIORS:

  • Senior Awards night is Wednesday, May 10th, @ 7pm
  • Mrs. Ferries needs photos of events when you were younger for the slide show ASAP
  • Baccalaureate is Wednesday, May 24th, in the classic gym, at 7pm
  • All dues, fines, fees need to be paid by May 24th, or you don't get to participate in the graduation ceremony to get your diploma
  • Senior grades need to be in by 8 a.m. on May 24th, which means your work has to be turned in the day before
  • On Friday, May 26th, the breakfast will be at 9 a.m. & will take all of 2nd hour.  At 1 p.m. we will have practice in the new gym.  Directly after practice the senior class will go through the hallways dressed in their caps & gowns
  • Be in the HS commons @ 6 pm. before the graduation ceremony.  Dress appropriately.  If you are not dressed appropriately you will have to change before you take part in the ceremony

UPDATE:  REGIONAL TRACK

Royall has agreed to host the Regional Track meet, and at this time, they feel that they will have a sufficient number of workers to handle the meet.  If this changes, we will make an announcement.  Thanks to the great folks who did offer to help out….your willingness to volunteer your time to benefit high school athletics is appreciated!
