Auditions for the Fall Theatre production will be on Monday, June 5th, from 3:30-5:30.  The fall production will be two one act shows " The Little Prince" and "The Chair Play."  Auditions for One Act Competition will occur simultaneously.  Students interested in auditioning may pick up audition forms from Mrs. Watters in the office.  Audition forms must be turned in by June 1st.

The 2017 Falcon Yearbook has arrived.  There are a limited number of extras available for sale.  Cost is $55.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Ferries.

Sign-up is taking place for the next Europe trip to Greece.  This trip will take place in March of 2019 through EF Tours.  If you would like to take this trip, turn your enrollment form in to Mr. Menn by May 31st to ensure the early enrollment discount of $200.  Call Mr. Menn at the High School or stop in to see him if you would like more information concerning the trip.  We hope you can join us in this adventure of a lifetime!

SUMMER CLASSROOM DRIVER'S EDUCATION:  The Board of Education has approved moving our Classroom Driver's Education from the school year to summer school.  Classroom Driver's Ed. will run during this year's summer school, July 10-27, 2017.  Transportation to the school will be provided.  Students must be signed up by June 2nd.  If interested or have questions, please contact Mr. Pettit.

 WORK PERMIT INFO:   To obtain a work permit you may come to the Brookwood  High School office and MUST have the following items:  Birth Certificate (which will be returned to you).; Written Parental permission slip.; A letter from your future employer stating the job you will have; Social Security Card; and $10.00.  If you have any questions please see Mrs. Watters in the high school office.  Work permits will be issued in the high school office this summer until June 23rd, then in the fiscal office by Mrs. Prielipp until August 11th, after that Mrs. Watters in the high school office.  Please call during the summer months before coming to check summer office hours.  Thanks

SAFETY PATROL NEWS

·          Congratulations to Rita Downing, who was recognized as one of the state’s outstanding Safety Patrol members at last weekend’s Safety Patrol Congress in Wisconsin Dells.

ATHLETICS NEWS

·          Within the next week, we will meet with all students in Grades 5 – 11 who intend to participate in athletics next year.  At that time, students will be given paperwork they need, as well as other needed information.  REMEMBER THAT ALL REQUIRED PAPERWORK MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED PRIOR TO THE BEGINNING OF PRACTICE.

·          ATHLETES ARE REMINDED THAT ALL UNIFORMS & EQUIPMENT MUST BE RETURNED TO THEIR COACHES BEFORE THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR!
