martial arts


Martial arts has been known to help a lot of people get better at paying attention, help them get in shape, and it’s been known to give people confidence. You know you can defend yourself if you have to. Some martial arts can specialize in a bunch of different fighting. There’s so many different martial arts.



  • Taekwondo Is a Korean Martial art that specialises in  kicking they do allot of jumping around. They do all kinds of striking but specialises in kicking. Taekwondo might be one of the best martial arts for kicking.


  • Tang soo do Is a Korean Martial art that specialises in all kind of striking. It like Karate and Taekwondo.


  • Hapkido Is a Korean Martial art I think it specialises in all kinds of striking and grappling. I think it like Tang soo do Aikido Jiu jitsu Judo all together.

  

  • Karate Is a japanese martial art that started on Okinawa in japan that specialises all kinds of striking and some style could teach some weapon fighting and disarming depends on what style your talking about. One could have just striking one could have striking and weapon fighting one could just have striking and disarming one could have a bit of all that.


  • Ninjutsu Is a japanese martial art that specialises in all kinds of weapon and disarming fighting and sneaking around. They do some a lot of striking with all that. I would say it’s like Tang soo do and Karate with all that weppen fight.       


  • Jiu jitsu Started as just a japanese martial art that specialises in all kinds of stinking and grappling  and throws like ground striking and grappling and standing striking grappling. So that,s japanese Jiu jitsu then in 1914 conde koma came to brazil and created Brazilian Jiu Jitsu .         


  • Judo Is a japanese martial art that specialises in standing up grappling and throw I think they teach some ground grappling. But I don’t think they teach any striking.    


  • Aikido Is a japanese martial art that specialises in turning the force away from yourself and turning it in a different direction and they do some weapon fighting and disarming.


  • Kendo Is a japanese martial art that was created in 1771 that specialises in stick fighting in war before guns were good in war they used sticks.


  • Brazilian jiu-jitsu Is a Brazilian martial art that specialises in ground grappling. They do standing up grappling and throws and some disarming. If a fight gets down to the ground some people say that Brazilian jiu-jitsu is the best martial arts


  • Mouy thai Is a Thai martial art specialises in striking it’s like a mix of kickboxing and boxing with elbowing and kneeing.


  • KFM Keysi fighting method Is a spanish martial art that was created in 1980 in spain that specialises close combat striking all over the body to confuse your opnet in a fight with some disarming.


One thing that’s helped me in Brazilian jiu-jitsu is that it’s helped me gain confidence. I was doing it since 2014 and it’s helped me a couple of times. It’s changed me and kept me in shape. It got me stronger. Sometimes I was able to defend to myself jiu-jitsu. When I was about 12, there was a kid who some impulse problems, and I put him in a guard and a counselor got involved to separate us.


I want to learn a mix of martial arts, that’s a mix of striking, grappling both on the ground and standing up, and some weapon fighting and disarming. The top two martial arts I want to learn is MMA and Keysi fighting method.
