Mission of the Counseling Program:
The mission of the school counseling program at Nottoway Intermediate School is aligned with the school's mission, which is to provide opportunities for students to enjoy life, contribute to others' well being, and become responsible, productive citizens in a global community. By using classroom lessons, group counseling, and individual counseling services, the school counselor will provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program to address the academic, career and personal/social needs of all students. The school counseling program will continuously be evaluated and improved through the collection of data.
